    3D wood sculpture of Fi

For those not able to attend the OGGA Christmas dinner I wanted to share this story with you…
Sharon, our office manager, had my name in the Christmas exchange at work, she met this lady years ago out west at a dog show (I think she told me that she showed AKC Greyhounds).   She does 3D wooden pictures and lives in Georgia.
Sharon sent Fi’s “Time in a bottle” slide show to her so they could pick out a picture, she called Sharon and said thanks a lot for making her cry.
They decided on a picture but didn’t want both ears straight up since the one was always to the side.   She called Sharon around Thanksgiving and told her that she needed to go to England to see her sick mother and promised her that she would have Fi done in time for our Christmas party on Dec 7th.
She called Sharon and told her that she was finished and  that this was one of the most special pieces that she did. She said that Fi came to visit her and told her that make sure you tell my mom that my leg is all better. This lady didn’t know a thing about Fi except that he passed away.

    Those special ears...
